Richard Wingard
Founder, CEO & Board Member
Richard manages and directs strategy, research and development, product delivery and operations for the company.
Richard is also focused on deploying EuclidIQ’s unrivaled video compression to the Ad industry.
Prior to joining EuclidIQ, Richard was a pioneer in the telecommunications and medical imaging industries. He held executive positions at AT&T, Sprint, Access Radiology, Telcare, Image Labs, Multimedia Medical Systems, Nomos and Vidimedix.
Richard also served on the INCITS committee for eight years involved in the deployment of JPEG and MPEG standards.
He currently serves on the board of a company in the digital pathology industry.
Richard holds a BA degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Ken Goeller
Chief Business Development and Product Officer
As the head of Business Development and Product Development, Ken is focused on our go-to-market strategy and growth.
Ken brings EuclidIQ 27 years of video technology and business experience. Before working at EuclidIQ, he patented methods for the secure distribution of movies and television.
He also led the development of one of the first commercial H.264 encoders. While at Deluxe Entertainment, Ken led the development of new products for OTT and Cable Industries.
Ken headed the technology development at Movielink, the first movies over the net company.
Ken was a pioneer in the online distribution of Hollywood movies on the net. Ken has had a successful ‘exit’ with the sales of his patent portfolio to Warner Bros., Fox Studios, SanDisk and Western Digital.
Ken also worked for Ernst & Young’s technology and innovation practice for 10-years. Duquesne University, BS.
Christopher Weed
CTO
Chris manages a team of engineers building unrivaled, video compression in the cloud for video ad networks.
Chris has built real-time, video processing algorithms at MIT Lincoln Laboratory for an operational, air defense system in the National Capital Region.
He also created a mobile, banner and video advertising system for MobileTheory, before it was acquired by Opera Mediaworks.
Caroline Wingard
COO
Caroline runs the day-to-day operations of EuclidIQ, as well as its marketing and communications efforts. With a keen eye for detail and organization, she has effectively restructured operational procedures to make EuclidIQ more efficient than ever. She has also shaped EuclidIQ’s marketing initiatives and overall brand strategy thanks to her talent for implementing creative campaigns.
Before bringing her skills to EuclidIQ, Caroline worked in marketing roles at start-ups and PR firms. She has also worked in the healthcare field at research universities and hospitals, helping to treat those suffering from mental health issues.
Caroline attended Simmons University where she majored in Psychology. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in the top two percent of her class.
John Guo, PhD.
Senior Software Engineer
Dr. Guo is a seasoned researcher specializing in digital video process and compression algorithms, with more than 20 patents and various publications.
He had contributed to a number of startup companies with innovative technologies before he joined Euclid IQ in 2013.
Dr. Guo received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from University of Southern California.
Nigel Lee, PhD.
Video Compression Advisor
Dr. Lee brings extensive experience in matrix theory, adaptive signal processing, and systems analysis to Euclid, where he leads the technical team and is working to develop advanced algorithms for image and video processing.
Prior to joining the Company, Dr. Lee was a principal investigator in the Advanced Sensor Techniques Group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory in Lexington, MA. There, he developed advanced adaptive processing techniques to improve the detection and classification of submarine targets via both submarine towed arrays and torpedo arrays.
Dr. Lee has also managed projects focused on adaptive time-frequency detection of active sonar signals in shallow water environments for the Weapons Technology Branch of the U.S. Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport, RI.
He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brown University in Providence, RI, with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
He received both his M.A. and PhD degrees in electrical engineering from Princeton University in New Jersey.
His doctoral dissertation was on linear time-frequency detection of transient signals.
Dane Kottke, PhD.
Video Compression Advisor
Dr. Kottke has over 25 years of video and signal processing experience, including work at Avid where he initiated and oversaw the development for video and audio codecs, including design and specification of DNxHD as well as implementations for H.264, JPEG-2000, MPEG-2, and VC-1.
He has also worked in the Signal Processing Center of Technology at Lockheed Martin.
Dr. Kottke earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.

Michael W Haley
Board Member
Mr. Haley was formerly the CEO of Triton Management Company – during his tenure, the company developed and sold 60 McDonalds restaurants to the McDonalds Corporation.
Mr. Haley was a founding investor and Board Member of Cree Research, which became Cree, Inc. – the company that developed the blue LED that was instrumental in developing the LED light bulb.
Mr. Haley is an active private investor.
Arthur "Art" Buckland
Board Member
Mr. Buckland is a Professional Independent Director, with over 35 years experience on boards of companies listed on the NYSE, OTC, TWSE, LSE and NASDAQ. Mr. Buckland has served as Chairman and on the Audit, Governance, and Risk Committees and has 29 years of experience as Board Chair for a privately held company and 9 venture-backed start-ups.
As a CEO, Mr. Buckland guided complex business turnarounds that delivered significant revenue growth and increases in company book value.
Mr. Buckland led 43 merger and acquisition transactions valued at more than $2.58 billion, and completed 2 IPOs and one secondary. Sarbanes-Oxley qualified to serve as Chair of a public company Audit Committee.
Mr. Buckland holds an MBA from Harvard Business School; BS in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University; a Masters Professional Director Certification from the American College of Corporate Directors (Completed 320 hours of public company director education), and was awarded the prestigious “Entrepreneur of the Year”, co-sponsored by Ernst & Young, NASDAQ, Sprint, SAP America, Kauffman Fund and USA Today.
Dennis Stephen
Board Member
Mr. Stephen is a retired insurance executive with a career spent serving in various executive roles and board positions, including 21 years as Chief Operating Officer for Tennessee Farmers Insurance Companies.
Mr. Stephen served as one of nine corporate officers
Mr. Stephen is an active private investor in EuclidIQ and is a native of Tennessee, having graduated in 1971 from Lipscomb University in Nashville.
